Q1. Where are you from?

Gold Coast, Australia

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

Back in 2017, I was looking for ways to make money online so I could quit my job and make music full-time. I started and failed at 5 different businesses trying to navigate the landscape of online business by myself before eventually coming to my senses and hiring a mentor (Jason Capital) to teach me copywriting.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

Email, Ads, Sales Pages, VSLs, Social Posts, Websites, Blogs, Listicles. Pretty much every form I can think of ha

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

Biz opp/ make money online and men’s fitness

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

Having the right offer is king, everything else is secondary. A mediocre copywriter selling the right offer will beat the pants off an A-lister selling junk any day.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

Probably Dan Kennedy. Besides being one of the Godfathers of modern-day marketing, the way he positions himself is second to none. And positioning (i.e. WHO is saying it) is far more important than the copy itself (i.e. WHAT is said).

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

Last month I helped my 50th student hit a consistent 6 figure income as a copywriter. Which besides being great for them (and my ego haha), makes me smile thinking of the downstream effects and how many lives are being changed in the health, dating and financial niches as a result of the tens of millions of dollars of products and services they’ve helped sell. It’s also been fun to help spread the word of this awesome profession to thousands of people who never knew it existed. I truly believe that copywriters make the world go around!

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

Best get your umbrella ready cuz it’s gonna be raining Bennys pretty soon

Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?

support@seanferres.com
