Q1. Where are you from?

Scottsdale, Arizona

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

It was 2011 and I was at a poker table in Las Vegas. A young woman came into the room and I immediately noticed her. She then ended up getting seated at the table where I was playing. Someone at our table asked her what she did for a living and she said “I’m a writer.” I thought she was cute and wanted to talk to her, so I asked “what kind of writer?” and she replied “a copywriter.” I said “wow that’s amazing” and proceeded to type “what is a copywriter” into my smartphone. That was my first introduction to the world of copywriting.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

All forms of direct response.

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

I like everything. I’ve had a lot of success in the health space, but lately have spent lots of time focused on WEB3 projects as well. And through my Copy Accelerator Mastermind I’m advising on hundreds of funnels each year that span every niche imaginable.

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

Speak to the heart first and the mind second (aka lead with emotion first and then use logic to get your prospect’s heart to convince their brain that buying is a good idea). I teach this in my RMBC Method.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

The one who really cares about their craft, because too many people get into copywriting as a way to make money but don’t put the work into actually becoming great.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

I have plenty of wins. In the last month I helped one client increase conversion rates on her low-ticket landing page by over 800%. I also helped another client with a $5MM a year business take his AOV from $20 to $42 in a free-shipping funnel, which is going to allow him to scale to $10MM, $20MM and beyond.

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

At this point in my career I’d say you can’t, but I have a mastermind full of amazing writers and I can match you with someone who is very talented and a fit with your budget.

Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you? or visit
