Q1. Where are you from?

Poland.

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

I will never forget when I was a teenager, my father was a struggling independent computer technician, relying on word of mouth. We couldn’t afford to lose all we had once again. So one day as we were driving to church, staring at the hypnotizing billboards I asked: Why wouldn’t you just advertise there? “You must know what to write there for people to remember your offer and make them want to contact you. Look at how many billboards we drove by. Do you remember any? Only the rich can afford to advertise there.” When he said that last line, my whole body shook, as lightning went through my body. And I proceeded to say: Then I will one day, write messages on billboards and help the rich. I had 99 jobs, with no other goal in mind since. I became a news and entertainment media consultant, optimizing their revenue streams with native ads, teaching editors and celebrity bloggers how to hook people in with headlines, an investor, co-founder, and COO of Narcity Media, a ghost writer for CEO’s and celebrities, but I just call myself a lucky online marketer.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

Anything that has a headline, needs a story or propaganda.

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

I don’t like to write for product sales, I like to write about and for the people behind brands.

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

Don’t tell, show.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

Ugh, I don’t wanna sound like a fanboy, but nowadays it must be Frank Kern. It use to be Eugene Schwartz.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

My recent wins are resurrecting and rebranding blogs and startups with PR tactics, acquisitions and copywriting strategies for: mtlblog, narcity media, fanoweb (bought by attraction media), mtlnews, livemtl, rhino mg marketing group and pixonality.

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

I only come out of the shadows if we hit it off on linkedin.com/in/adrianboro, and if after my due diligence, I find that you have under leveraged resources.

Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?

a.d.r.i.a.n.b.o.r.o1@gmail.com
