Q1. Where are you from?
Romania
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
I was in high school first time I read a Tim Ferris blog post about people that people made fortunes selling info-products. Went down the search rabbit hole, but I couldn’t find much information about it at that time.
Years after, the opportunity to become an info-product marketer presented itself, and I jumped in with both feet.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
sales letters and emails
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
Supplements and spirituality/personal development
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
Dissolve your ego as you write.
It doesn’t matter what products YOU love using and why. Zoom into what the audience feels, wants and instead.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
I’d say David Ogilvy. His ideas were indeed “big”, and his style was brilliant. Take for example the brand positioning of Dove being “both cream and soap”, I feel that still works for Dove in 2023. He knew how to position and differentiate products, how to use research to find unique and alluring mechanisms, how to appeal to subconscious desires, how to make claims that are backed up by solid proof — and how to communicate everything in simple and clear language. A true inspiration for copywriters.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
On our last docu-series launch, we reintroduced supplement sales in the OTO funnel. I made solid tweaks to the landing page, upsell structure, pricing and positioning, and the launch did approximately $1.4M in sales. We were happy about that!
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
That you don’t hire a copywriter just to be “creative”, you hire him for his ability to think and strategize the persuasion steps required for purchase.
So the more I get access to your previous split-testing, competitors, product research and other data, the better my work will be.
Also – differentiating your product is paramount.
