Ohio
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
When I started my first blog in 2019. I took a zillion blogging courses on various blog-related topics and they kept referring to writing as “copy.” It wasn’t until August of 2022 that I learned what copywriting actually was. Now I am hooked.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
I am not new to writing but just started my copywriting career right now. I really hope to specialize in newsletters, emails, and white papers.
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
Since I work in the healthcare industry, I chose healthcare. Also, since I have been an avid cat parent for over 30 years, I am interested in writing about the pet industry.
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
To write conversationally, to ONE person. My mind was blown. So simple, and yet makes perfect sense!
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
Being a newbie, I’m going to say Bob Bly. It seems like everything of his I read, I must invest in! Whether it’s knowledge or gadgets, I’m buyin’ what he’s puttin’ down!
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
As a beginner, my recent win is finally finding the kind of writing that will hopefully take me places.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
I will be honest, I am a new copywriter. But I have all the resources I need including an amazing support team should I need help along the way. Your success is my priority. I look forward to collaborating with your team so I can develop the right kind of copy that will strengthen your customer’s trust in you.
