Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

I once worked in a marketing department where I was introduced to copywriting through a colleague who was in charge of writing ad copy. I was fascinated by his ability to craft persuasive content and became curious about the field. That was the first time I had heard the term copywriting.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

I specialize in creating various types of written content, including website content, social media posts, email campaigns, product descriptions, and advertising copy. I have particular expertise in SEO copywriting.

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

While I have the ability to write for a wide range of niches, I have a particular affinity for and experience in writing for the e-commerce industry.

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

One of the most important lessons I have learned as a copywriter is the importance of understanding your audience. In order to create effective copy, it is essential to have a deep understanding of the people you are trying to reach and what they need, want, and care about. By tailoring your messaging to your audience’s specific needs and interests, you can create copy that is relevant, engaging, and persuasive. It is also important to regularly update and refresh your understanding of your audience, as their needs and preferences may change over time.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

My favorite copywriter is Joanna Wiebe. She is well known for taking a data-driven approach to copywriting, using tools like A/B testing to determine which copywriting approaches are most effective.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

It was positive customer feedback from my client, Sarah’s e-commerce store. She said: “Armayau, I am so pleased with the work you did on our landing page copy.
