Q1. Where are you from?

Pakistan

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

I was a two-bit content writer on Fiverr who learned that one of the categories under “Writing” was Copywriting. That’s how.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

Video ad scripts (YT, FB, TT), emails, landers, sales pages and VSLs. In other words launch copy.

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

Coaching & Consulting

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

Persuasion is everything. Much bigger than copywriting or marketing in general.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

John Carlton. His copy isn’t just science. It’s art too. He’s a wordsmith and even though I don’t really think any longer that copywriters are wordsmiths, I think it helps a great deal if your copy is somewhat “poetic” too while it checks all the “science-related” boxes.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

A set of ads I wrote for a client of the agency I worked for, made $100,000+ on an ad spend of just $10,000. I’m pretty badass when it comes to converting cold traffic. Then a client of mine made USD 16,000+ in only 4 days with just 7 emails, out of a list of 1700 subs. And they’re recurring clients so I bet by now he has made much more than that.

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

I’m more fluent in results than in English. Got tons of proof and stats to back up my claims. Hire me only if results matter to you.

Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?

bilal@bilalahmed.life
