Q1. Where are you from?

Lagos, Nigeria

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

It intrigued me that words could persuade people to act in a specific manner. I didn’t believe such a skill existed until 2020 during the lockdown… I accidentally landed on a Whatsapp group… and suddenly the group admin started spamming the group with copywriting content… At first, I didn’t understand the message ’cause I thought he was talking about “copyright”. However, I was so curious that I went online to do some research and BOOM… tons of materials about copywriting started popping up on my phone screen. I discovered Dan Lok. So I went on YouTube and started following his teachings. Later on, I stumbled on Gary Halbert’s videos too and learned about his Newsletter.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

Email copy, landing page copy, Fb ads.

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

Personal development, Internet marketing, Relationship/Infidelity, Parenting.

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

Great copy instills “hope” in the reader. Renew your prospects’ hope that there’s still ONE solution (out there) to their problems and they will open their wallets.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

Gary Halbert (late). I love his no-bullshit and entertaining writing style.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

It’s kind of a win for me that I’m starting to build a LinkedIn community. Especially gathering the confidence to go all in. Though I’m still learning the ropes.

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

Let’s work together if you’re looking for a copywriter or email list manager who put his all into any projects he handles. Plus, I have never missed a deadline. Clients that I’ve worked with (like Digistore24) agreed that I deliver quality work FAST. And yes. I’m not expensive, yet… so hire me before I do and have a share in my journey to the top.
