Q1. Where are you from?
Cleveland, Ohio
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
Believe it or not, I started off writing pre-sentence reports for the county court. I eventually transitioned to technical writing at a new company and started to write blogs in my spare time.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
blogs, marketing copy, case studies, white label content
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
personal finance, technology, and marketing
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
My #1 lesson learned is that copywriting is constantly changing and, as a copywriter, it’s just as important to keep changing with it.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
Troy Ericson, duh! Your content is really engaging and informative – there are a lot of self-proclaimed “gurus” but your web persona and content are always spot-on.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
I partnered with Jeromie “Kake King” Jones to help with copywriting and technical writing for his book From Home to Bakery. The book went on to be an Amazon Bestseller and is available at most major booksellers.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
I really take the time to listen, which is critical for producing content that resonates with your audience. I am very hands-on, so my clients can rest assured that they get the attention to detail that they deserve.
Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
