I was a director of content & SEO at an agency, got burned out, and decided to do my own thing. I went in search of what was next for me and found copywriting.

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
It’s not about the words. It’s about channeling the customer’s desire to avoid pain or realize an outcome.

It’s a close top spot, but right now: Chris Orzechowski.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
– Added an extra $44k to a client’s monthly recurring email revenue with new automations. – Sold $31k+ on BF/CM 2022 with three emails to a list that had not been emailed in over 6 months.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
My favorite compliment from a client is that I’m easy to work with and feel like a business partner, not a service provider. This is my goal with clients. I want to partner with them to grow their business. Email’s a part of that.
