Q1. Where are you from?

Eagle Mountain, Utah

It was all by accident. Back in the day I started on the technical side of digital marketing and a client asked me if I could write an email for him. That lead to more emails, landing pages, and even sales letters.

DR/Ecom hybrid landers, VSLs, TSLs, advertorials

Health and personal development.

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

To be intimately familiar with the audience I’m speaking to.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

Dan Kennedy because he taught me copywriting through his books and (printed) newsletter.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

I was recently hired to beat a control on a DR/ecomm hybrid lander written by a very accomplished copywriter. My new version beat his by 52%!!

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

Don’t contact me if you’re in the “copycat” business — I only want to work with visionaires, innovators and disruptors are putting it all on the line to make a difference in the world.
