Q1. Where are you from?
Mobile, Alabama
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
I was considering becoming an author, and some lady on Facebook read my writing and told me I would do better copywriting than trying to write the great American novel.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
Although I dabble in everything, the thing I’ve written the most is emails. I’ve probably written thousands of them.
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
I like writing about business, psychology, and education. Because I have post-secondary degrees in all those subjects, I done have to start from zero when I’m doing research.
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
No one sees their blind spots.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
Anna Iveson. She told me the truth about my copy in a way that I could understand and I love her for it.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
I’ve been writing for a few years and every single day it gets better and I learn something new. So everyday is a win for me.
