Q1. Where are you from?

San Diego, CA

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

Rescued a bunch of kittens in high school, then made an infoproduct about how to stop your cat from misbehaving hahaha. Wrote a sales letter for it.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

Sales letters and emails, mostly.

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

I have a lot of experience in B2B and bizopp, but my current favorites are legal and survival.

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

Empathy. Feel their pain and talk to them like a friend.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

Many favorites. I respect the talent of a copywriter who can keep it real, point out potential negatives, and then overcome the objections. Like Ben Settle.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

Increased a client’s high-ticket course sales by 187.5% and tripled another client’s holiday sales by rewriting their email sequence.
