My father had an advertising firm and as a kid, I read all the many books he got
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
All sorts – but a lot of product selling long copy for health supplements
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
Health, self-help books and courses
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
Stay in the prospects mind about what will excite him enough to act on your offer to solve the problem of his pain or fulfil his passion
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
Many for different reasons – Ogilvy for long copy; Caples for uncovering the USP; Bernbach for pithy headlines that go well with the visual, Eugene Schwatz for reason why bullets, etc etc
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
Taking a break to develop my own online product/ course.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
“What is the most important challenge you must overcome to persuade your prospect?” If there is a benchmark or control that must be surpassed, I would be interested in taking on the work.
