Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

I stayed in an airbnb owned by a copywriter. I didn’t exactly know what a copywriter was at this point. Funnily enough I started watching the show Mad Men whilst I stayed with this copywriter (purely by coincidence). It wasn’t until much later I came across a free masterclass on YouTube and I followed the rabbit hole.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

Emails & landing pages

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

John Carlton. He’s been a mentor to me (not that he knows it). I’ve consumed his epic course ‘Kick-Ass Copywriting Secrets of a Marketing Rebel’ multiple times. I’ve love his book ‘The Entrepreneurs Guide To Getting Your Shit Together’ (Volume 1). I’ve ran my highlighter dry and filled it with post-it note bookmarks. He taught me to become a sales detective when researching a project.Plus he seems like a cool dude ;)

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

Readers writing in to my client saying how inspired they are. Little do they know… I’m behind the keyboard.
