Q1. Where are you from?

Serbia

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

Started looking for side gigs during my college days and somehow landed a content marketing job.

It took a few months for me to realize what the heck I’m even doing, but when I started to dig deeper, I fell in love with marketing.

Fast forward one year and I’m dropping out of college and obsessing with everything copywriting and direct response-related.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

Email copy, landing pages, and blogs 99% of the time.

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

Specializing in SaaS – but also love personal development, tennis, biz opp, and financial.

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

You can’t persuade someone by speaking rationally – you need to appeal to their emotions.

Also, you can’t afford to be boring.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

Love analyzing all the old-school maestros – from Clayton Makepeace and Gary Halbert to Carlton, Ted Nicholas, Parris, David Deutsch, and similar ones.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

Wrote my first long-form VSL a few months ago and made the client appx. $44k in less than a week, from only a relatively small email list

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

If you have a SaaS product and (at least) $200k in funding, shoot me an email. We’ll build you a tailored content and email strategy and talk details.

Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?

filipgraycopy@gmail.com
