Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
Mail order – back in the day – but didn’t know what it was
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
Focusing on short form copy right now – mainly Email copy
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
Diet, Fitness, Nutritional Supplement Health and Wellness at the moment – Those are where I’ve had the most success
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
That my #1 job is to write copy that fills my clients bank accounts.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
I have several “favorites” – I like the old-school, direct mail masters… like Clayton Makepeace, Eugene Schwartz, Victor Schwab, Gary Halbert, Gary Bencivenga, Dan Kennedy – just to name a few – but my favorite is Jim Rutz “The Copywriter closest To GOD” – for that reason
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
I came to Copywriting from a previous life in one on one selling and old-school, pre-internet marketing – around 35 years total experience before I retired from that life in 1996- I got bored with retirement and decided I’d pursue Copywriting – as sales and marketing is pretty much in my blood…
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
When you hire me to write your copy – my sole purpose is the make your cash register ring and fill your bank account.
