Q1. Where are you from?

Dubai

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

Back in 2017, I was at a marketing event in London called ‘Expert Empires’. Truth be told, I’d only gone because Gary V was a keynote speaker. (Yup, I was *that* kind of ‘marketer’ – all about that #hustleporn). But, there was another speaker who stole the show for me – Ryan Deiss. He was talking about the power of copywriting, using examples from his own biz and powerhouse brands like Apple to showcase how copy can make or break a product. That was my first real introduction to direct response copy, which then led me on a journey of exploration into the world of words. ✍️

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

Email is my bread and butter. But I also write ad, landing page, and sales page copy, too.

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

Personal development, health and wellness, and biz opp are my go-to niches.

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

The better the research, the better the copy. To move people to action, knowing the ins and outs of your market and getting deep into the minds of what prospects are thinking, feeling and wanting is huge.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

Hm, tough one. To me, right now, it’s between ‘The Coffee Shop Copywriter’ AKA Mike Samuels and Sean Vosler. Mike – who’s also my copy coach – is a beast at story-selling. His emails always reel me in and keep me hooked until the very end. And Sean’s a master at combining persuasive strategies with a unique, ‘out of the box’ creative approach.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

I helped generate $82,000 in sales for a client through an email sequence that lasted just over a week. So that was pretty coo. *Cartman voice*

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

Let’s hop on a call and chat about your project, what you’re looking for and see if we’re a fit on working together.

Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?

sghavesh@gmail.com
