Q1. Where are you from?

St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

I discovered copywriting in 2017. I started working for a friend who ran a virtual assistant business and we served mostly copywriters. I saw what they did and their potential and fell in love with the industry.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

Launch copy (emails, launch curriculum, sales pages, etc)

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

I love writing for other copywriters, but I also write in the financial niche (US-based personal finance) and for business coaches.

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

Don’t underestimate the importance of building genuine relationships with other copywriters and your clients/potential leads. I’ve had so many opportunities through those connections and I never have to cold pitch!

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

Don’t make me choose!

Seriously though, if I -had- to pick one, probably Kira Hug and Rob Marsh. I so admire what they’ve achieved with their own businesses and the Copywriter Club.

But, that’s like, a gun to my head type of answer. There are too many wonderful copywriters to name.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

I’ve grown my business much faster than average (0-175k per year) with little to no experience in 2.5 years.

It wasn’t easy but I feel like if I can do it, you can too!
