Q1. Where are you from?
Winnipeg, Canada.
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
I discovered it sometime in Highschool. After years of studying business studies and then marketing, I was excited to find a skill that could make a difference while still drawing from my creative writing interests.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
Email Copy.
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
I love B2C niches, name any business with a solid mission in the lives of its customers and I’m sold.
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
I’d say, that there’s no set formula to writing that converts. You have to become your customer, and by calculated experiments, you’ll find what pushes their ‘buy’ button. But great copywriters only need a few trials to make it work.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
I’d say Jacob Mcmillen. He’s straight to the point, never put me through a webinar with an elevated sales pitch, and doesn’t bombard me with emails -might I add he got beginner copywriter Ife into the email niche!
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
I’m transitioning out of an internship at an e-commerce store, and I’m glad to have signed my first well paying client for 2023.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
Understandably you’re apprehensive about hiring a beginner. Hence, I offer a one month ‘trial service’ discount. That way you know I can bring results before committing to a full price retainer. However, I value my time and will only work with a few clients for whom who I can zero in on delivering high ROI copy monthly. This offer expires in April 2023 though!
Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
