Q1. Where are you from?

Vancouver, Canada

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

It wasn’t planned at all. I got into copywriting through regular writing. I was in the fitness space and started as a lug head, a body building fitness guy that wrote a couple books on fitness. I didn’t write the sales letter, jus the books. One of them did really well, and when it took off, I got more into this industry. Before that, I was just a guy that knew nutrition and fitness and stuff. And it took off, it became the number one book in its category. I never even imagined that was possible.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

Compelling Marketing & Sales Copy + AI Copy

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

I like teaching people how to master the art and science of Ethical Persuasion. Ranging from how to write high-converting VSL’s to webinars, emails, long-form sales letters, upsells, headlines, ads, leads, advertorials, product launches, etc… Plus writing with & about CopyPro.ai.

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

No one needs to be the best in the world at anything. To be very good at something, you just have to be better than yourself. If you’re better than you were yesterday or the day before, then you’re heading in the right direction.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

A few of my favorite copywriters and close friends are Todd Brown, Ryan Deiss and Dean Graziosi.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

The VSL Attention Framework has generated over $1B for companies and marketers including DigitalMarketer, BioTrust, Agora, and Traffic & Conversions.

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
