Q1. Where are you from?
Rock Island, Washington
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
A couple of years ago, I was running a music production business and started researching how to write engaging content. “The Adweek Copywriting Handbook” by Jospeph Sugarman opened my eyes to copywriting as an incredible career opportunity that seemed like it was made specifically for my personality type.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
All forms of direct response copy.
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
Natural Health, Tech, and Make Money Online.
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
Ditch the template, stop thinking so technically, and trust my intuition during the writing process.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
Currently, I would have to say Daniel Throssell. He opened my eyes to the power of creativity through words. I have a tremendous amount of appreciate for his writing style and thought process.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
I just did a marketing consultation with a non-profit organization through Catchfire. It was really rewarding helping them identify their story. We were able to build a more engaging pitch deck structure to help them garner more support in their effort to help inner-city youth.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
