Q1. Where are you from?
Tampa, Florida
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
I was working 100+ hours per week at 3 jobs back in 2008. I wanted more money, but was out of time to give, so I turned to the internet. After (unsuccessfully) trying to sell affiliate products online, I read an email from a mentor of mine that said the #1 skill you can learn in a business like I was in was copywriting. That began the journey.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
email, sales letters, and ads
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
Internet marketing, personal development, and business opportunity niches
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
You can never be too long, you can only be too boring.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
I love Frank Kerns style because of his simplicity and directness.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
I wrote a 5 day email sequence in 2014 that I’ve used dozens of times to fill up every program I’ve ever offered, and haven’t had to change more than 10 words over all these years. It still works, and some of the 5 day promotions have brought in hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
I’m very particular about who I work with these days, so we need to have a chat first.
Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
