Q1. Where are you from?
Perth, Australia
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
Hadn’t heard of the word until I started doing it. Then I discovered it was a “thing” that A) paid bills and B) I’m darn good at.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
Websites and launch assets (sales pages, email campaigns, landing pages and lead magnets).
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
Fitness. Brands with muscle and bendy brands.
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
The more ‘me’ I am, the more people want to work with me. Complete opposite of what I believed as a shy poppet growing up. I’d dash behind my parent’s legs, clutching their t-shirt to my squishy cheeks if someone tried to talk to me. Now I put my goofy face ev-er-y-where. Get paid to unleash my whacky self? Ummm, heck yes!
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
Gonna break hearts here – I don’t have one. Too many fabulously talented peeps in the world to get hooked on just one. And I luurvvee the freedom to flippity-flop my preferences depending on my mood. (So no tatts either.)
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
People buying stuff from my clients. It’s why I do what I do. Oh, and trekking my fam bam to the other side of Oz. Everyone asked if it was for work. Uh, no. I can work anywhere. Simple answer – we wanted a fresh start. Been freakin’ phenomenal. No regrets. Want a hot tip? Don’t stay stuck. Get yo arse moving to wherever makes you happy. (In life, biz and love!)
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
If no B.S. is your jam – I’ll be your toast. Together we’ll make your offer gobble-worthy.
Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
