Q1. Where are you from?

St. Petersburg, FL

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

The company I worked for hired a consultant to create an in-bound sales campaign. He was a direct response junkie and knew I liked to write, so he turned me onto the craft.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

I’ve done it all in my client work as a freelancer. I specialized in full launch campaigns. These days I focus primarily on email and sales pages from my company.

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

Business development for creatives.

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

Develop a strong voice and always lead with sincerity.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

John Carlton, because he writes prose like a novelist and takes his readers on an adventure to the sale.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

These days my best wins come form inspiring my students to get big wins.

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

You found somebody good, don’t look for somebody bad.
