Q1. Where are you from?

Fredericksburg, Texas

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

I graduated with an English degree and spent a few years after graduation as a paralegal. After a lot of late nights and constant weekends, I wanted more work-life balance for my family, with more earning potential. I stumbled upon one of Jason Capital’s YouTube ads one day for his Email Income Expert program. I jumped on it, started learning email marketing, began freelancing, and opened my first agency.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

With Power Up Media, we are a full service marketing agency. I write everything from websites to sales letters and funnels, VSLs, social posts, email marketing, blogs, and more. You name it, I write it.

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

I love to work with the health and wellness industry, coaches, and eCommerce stores.

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

Your copy is only as good as your research skills and the clarity of your understanding.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

Ian Stanley. He’s a direct mentor of mine, but also he was the first to show me how wit, humor, informality, and authenticity can convert.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

My team helped a Covid testing clinic generate 8 figures in revenue over 90 days.

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

Copywriting is way more than the words on the page. It’s also understanding marketing strategy. So if you’re looking for a partner who can make your brand resonate with your audience from first interaction to 100th order, let’s chat. Plus, I’ve got an amazing team of web developers, media buyers, SEO strategists, and more behind me.

Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?

lauren@powerupmedia.com
