Q1. Where are you from?

New York City

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

I started out on Madison Avenue- working as a copywriter at big ad agencies: Young & Rubicam, BBDO, DDB/Needham, and Saatchi

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

Ads, sales pages, VSLs, Webinars, email

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

Coaches, consultants, creators, and entrepreneurs

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

Flint McGlaughlin, founder of MECLABS, says, “the essence of marketing is the message.” I would add, “the essence of a message that sells is the hook.”

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

Steve Hayden – Hayden is the copywriter who wrote Apple’s 1984 commercial, which launched the Macintosh. He then went on to lead Apple’s creative for over a decade, and then helped revive a languishing IBM when he led its creative at Ogilvy&Mather.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

Recently wrote an ad (versions on YouTube, Facebook and TikTok) for Russ Ruffino which brought in well over $1.5 million. One of many I wrote for Ruffino, perhaps the biggest high ticket coach in the business.

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

Check into my Marketing Hooks Method for coming up with campaigns that breakthrough all the noise out there.
