Q1. Where are you from?
England
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
I did a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, then realised there was zero money to be made with that. So, I Googled “How to make money with writing.” And the rest is history.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
Emails & sales pages mainly
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
The course creator/coaching space
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
Having clients with huge lists makes demonstrating how much you’ve generated for clients much easier and more impactful
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
Ben Settle. Obviously, he’s a top copywriter but the ‘middle finger’ style marketing for his own products, while boarding on ridiculousness at times, works. It’s worked on me. A lot. I love it. A perfect example of Repel To Attract.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
Recently increased a large business coaching agency’s conversions by 1500% by redoing several of their email sequences. That was pretty nice.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
If I don’t increase your conversions in 90 days, I’ll give you every penny back. (It surprises me how many agencies/freelancers/etc don’t offer guarantees. The client really shouldn’t be taking the risk.)
Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
