Q1. Where are you from?
Sunsites, Arizona
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
It was totally by accident. I was hawking my services as a freelance writer doing press releases and bios mostly. One day a student of Dan Kennedy’s hired me to write 52 autoresponders. “What’s an autoresponder?” I asked. He introduced me to copywriting and Gary Halbert’s work. I fell in love with the genre and became a lifelong student.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
Sales letters, emails, bios, social media posts, launches
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
Survival niche or anything about animals although I’m known for writing copy that sells to women
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
You have to take good care of yourself because you are the tool you have to rely on. Sleeping and eating well are just as important as knowledge. So is taking time to reboot. If you aren’t feeling your best, it shows in your work.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
Gary Halbert because he was so irreverent and didn’t give a f*ck. His work was always interesting. I was so blessed to get to study with him while he was living.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
My win is living the life I manifested through copy. I bought a 14 acre horse ranch in Arizona recently in the middle of nowhere. It’s always been my dream and copywriting made it happen.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
I do much more mentoring and copy chiefing these days. If someone wanted to hire me to write for them, we would have to have a special connection. And their project would need to light me up.
Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
