Q1. Where are you from?

Philippines

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

Since college, I’ve already written a bunch of mailers for fundraisers. Professionally, I was trained by a former boss at a marketing agency, who is a student of Dan Kennedy and Frank Kern. He hired me as a Content Writer and ended up writing email copy and sales pages for him. The rest was history.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

Email Copy, Sales Pages, Online Course

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

Personal Development, Coaching, Online Courses

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

I learned that customer is king. Copy begins and ends with the customer (avatar) in mind.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

I’m biased with Frank Kern because I studied him closely and because his “pre-frame” concept has been a huge principle in my copywriting and freelancing in general.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

I’ve recently started my coaching business where I helped people start from zero to having 6-7 figure income as service business owners. All thanks to copywriting principles that helped us nail their marketing message, audience targeting, and conversion tactics.

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

I’ll probably give you a bunch of reasons to not hire me, so if at the end of the conversation you still feel like you should hire me… it’s likely coz you have to.

Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?

luis@thinkclient.io
