Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
I was living in a motel, and my friend Austin asked me to write an ad to sell his mustang on craigslist. So I googled “How to write a good advertisement” found the Gary Halbert Letter, and a year later I was running a direct mail business using stolen leads from the government.

Learn to be a closer before you write copy.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
Gary Halbert, I’m very close to his son Kevin, and the published material about Gary Halbert is nothing compared to the REAL Gary. He truly is the greatest copywriter to ever live.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
Just made $102,000 from a small list on Black Friday. Finished up a sales letter for my relationship client, which will debut in January. And I’m about to open a business running a call center / marketing for Brick and Mortar businesses.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
I absolutely do NOT need more clients.
