Q1. Where are you from?
USA
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
In 2018 I decided to quit my full-time 6-figure income at the bank so I could teach English and travel. I learned that I could teach online if I learned how attract clients with copywriting and marketing.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
Actually I’m a marketing consultant. I focus on marketing strategy. Things like how to build your offer, how to map out your customer’s journey, etc. But aside from that I predominately focused on Email Marketing, Funnels, and Organic Content Marketing
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
I work with personality based coaches, thought leaders and content creators :)
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
Never give up. If something isn’t working, don’t just throw in the towel, but take the time to figure out why.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
Ben Settle with Daniel Throssell being a close second. Most copywriters are focused on their “specialty” to the point of alienating all others and claiming that all other marketing methods are bad. But Ben and Daniel, despite being email copywriters, fully understand that while every platform has challenges, there’s no one size fits all and there are pros and cons for all of them
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
I have all sorts of case studies on my website so its probably best to go there if you want to see what I’ve done.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
I only work with a few clients at a time and I work in 90-day sprints. My philosophy is the strategy is the most important piece and without strategy you might make a little money here and there but you’ll just end up with “Half-built bridges.”
Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
