Q1. Where are you from?

Nis, Serbia

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

By pure accident. The first thing I discovered online was one of those “scammy” opportunities where you get paid (allegedly) to click on ads (this was around 2009/2010). Of course, I never made any money on that (shocking, I know). But that experience got me into the world of digital marketing. And the more I dived into that world, the more I heard about that thing called “copywriting.” So when I discovered you could learn how to write words on the page that get people to buy… I got hooked for life.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

I write sales copy – VSLs, webinars, sales pages, emails, YouTube ads, Facebook ads…

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

I like writing for professional niches, info products, SaaS, tech…

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

People want something that excites them… entertains them… make them feel alive… finally solves their problems and fulfills their needs. So when you write copy that can hit all those points, you have a potential winner.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

Steve Harrison. He’s a direct-response copywriter who, at the same time, wrote copy that sold his clients’ products & services, and got awards for his work. So he’s respected by both his clients and his peers.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

One recent sales page I wrote for a client (for a low-ticket offer) converts at 8-10% on cold traffic. A webinar I wrote for that same client converts on cold YouTube ads at profit (and brought over $1m in sales so far). And one webinar I wrote for another client brought over $35 million in sales over the course of 2 years).

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

With copy, as with everything else in business and life, you get what you pay.

Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?

mladen@mladenstojanovic.net
