Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
I discovered copywriting through my work in marketing and advertising. I worked in a creative role for several years and I was exposed to different types of copywriting during that time. I also read books, took courses, and worked with mentors to hone my craft.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
I write persuasive copy for sales pages, product descriptions, email sequences, and ads. I also write SEO copy for websites, blogs, and other digital content. I also specialize in creating brand stories and crafting compelling headlines.
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
My favorite niches to write in are health and wellness, lifestyle, and travel. I also enjoy writing about technology, finance, and real estate. I find that these topics are interesting and engaging, and they often present me with the opportunity to use my creativity and research skills.
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
The #1 lesson I have learned as a copywriter is to always put the reader first. Writing copy should be focused on the reader’s needs, interests and wants. It should be engaging, informative and convincing, and should always be written with the reader in mind.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
My favorite copywriter is David Ogilvy. He is often considered the “Father of Modern Advertising,” and his copywriting skills have had a lasting impact on the industry. He was a master of the art of persuasion, and his copy was always clear, concise and convincing. He understood the importance of connecting with the audience and crafting a message that was relevant and persuasive. His work continues to influence modern copywriting and marketing strategies today.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
I recently wrote a series of emails for a client that resulted in a double-digit increase in conversions. I focused on making sure the message was clear and concise, and that it resonated with the target audience. The results speak for themselves, and I’m proud that my copy had such a positive impact. I’m always learning and growing in my career as a copywriter, and I’m looking forward to what the future holds.
