Q1. Where are you from?

I was born in Connecticut but have lived in New York, Massachusetts, Utah and Michigan.

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

I discovered copywriting through a Facebook ad for Sarah Turner’s program. I’m proof that good things can come from Facebook.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

I write website copy, blogs and emails. I focus on the user experience with everything that I write. I love writing all types of copy.

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

My favorite niche to write for is finance. But I love the novelty of writing in different niches as much as I can.

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

Everything boils down to research. A copywriter must know the product and the buyer persona inside and out. Only deep research will get you there. For me, research probably takes up almost half of my time spent on any project.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

It’s hard to pick one favorite when I’ve learned from so many. I admire Gary Halpert. David Garfinkel. Joe Sugarman. Sarah Turner. Jacob McMillen. All of these people have different lessons for us. I am lucky to have followed, read books, and interacted with so many great copywriters during my early learning.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

I’m now on the top of page 2 in Google search results for my niche!

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

The value of copywriting cannot be overstated. I am here to write in your voice and spread your message in a way that gets your prospective clients to act. I am the bridge between your offers and the delivery of those offers.

Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
