Q1. Where are you from?
Medford, Oregon
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
After getting a degree in chemistry, I realized that I didn’t want to spend my whole life in lab coats. I’m an introvert that’s always had a passion for words and persuasion, so when I was introduced to copywriting by a friend… It was like a dream come true.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
Email and long form sales letters
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
Personal development, health, weight loss, and supplements.
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
You are not your audience. Connecting with them on their level is crucial. Nobody cares how much you know… Until they know how much you care.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
Scott Mills. He introduced me to copywriting… Then proceeded to shred every piece I wrote until I got better and better. He cares and crafts his copy in easy-to-digest way that hits hard and gets straight to the heart of the issues and pain points.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
I wrote a personal development upsell that crushed the control. It brought the take-rate up to 50% and increased the AOV by $20.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
I’d love to hear about your project and what ideas you have. Let’s figure out the best way to make that happen.
Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
