Q1. Where are you from?

Chicago, IL

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

When I was 9 years old I discovered my favorite aunt studied Journalism at Columbia and my grandfather balanced creative writing with his engineering career. So, I was like, I can still be process minded and honor my creative gift for writing like I speak and actually connect with people to share ideas and change minds? Mind blown…Sign me up!

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

Email, video scripts, blogs, and online course content

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

Business operations, leadership, branding, marketing, UX

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

Brain dump your SFD with abandon and let your ideal client TELL YOU what hits them hard. THAT’S your golden angle (even if you thought you had a better one).

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

Someone whose emails I never skip in my inbox… Ryan Lee. He’s great at conversational storytelling that hits exactly where I’m at in my life right now, and it feels like we’re just catching up over coffee.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

Welp, I’ve officially removed all distractions to focus on my “big thing”… biz ops + leadership + UX “how to” content and offers for 6 and 7-figure coaches/consultants/creatives flying solo or with lean teams who struggle with systems/processes/automations/tech and executive function

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

Got the EADHD monkey on your back? (That’s Entrepreneurial ADHD, by the way…) I’ll feed him bananas and get him off your back. You focus on doing the voodoo that you do well, and I’ll help you with the rest (if it’s UX -systems – processes – automations – how to content related anyway). Because us EADHD-ers understand working in our zones of genius…Hyperfocus anyone?

Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?

hey@luxuxme.com
