Nigeria
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
I like to think copywriting discovered me because I came across a tweet made by Golibe Illechukwu —my first copywriting coach— on Twitter back in May 2021…

It’s been a wholesome life-changing journey since then.

I write long-form copy however I love writing emails.

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
I’ve learned a lot from copywriting but one lesson that has helped in copywriting and life is that…
Humans are selfish and that is never going to change.
So all I can do is engineer their selfishness towards taking a desired action.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
My favorite copywriter is Dolapo Hamzat.
I love his simplicity, personality, persistence, and consistency.
Sometimes when I feel down and feel like giving up, I think of him and his journey…
I simply tell myself “if Dolapo can succeed at this, I can too” and I’m instantly motivated to keep pushing.

Also, I’m finally putting myself out there more despite the nagging thoughts of fear.
And it’s been great so far.
