Q1. Where are you from?

The Show-Me state.

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

I started out writing product descriptions. I’d never heard of copywriting before. It wasn’t until Ryan Deiss’ “The Machine” and “Funnel Blueprint” came out that I first heard of it. I took both courses, and went on to make $30K from my first client.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

VSL’s, emails, advertorials, FB ads, etc.

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

Supplements, and survival.

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

Do your research!! It’s where everything that will make your copy a winner resides.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

Clayton Makepeace. His “Quick Start Copywriting System” was one of the first copywriting products I bought. He was a fantastic teacher, and I still review his lessons often.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

I wrote a VSL in the supplement niche not so long ago; I just found out it’s beaten company records in terms of how much it’s scaled and earnings per month. So that was nice.

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

I’d say my biggest asset is my ability to uncover new facets of a niche that many people haven’t considered before. It’s largely because I truly enjoy learning new things nearly as much as writing. Also, I’m a firm believer in AI, and it’s an integral part of my workflow. I personally believe it’s a must-have for any serious copywriter.

Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?

racspeal@gmail.com
