Q1. Where are you from?
Philippines
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
I’m a content writer looking for a higher paying opportunity with lesser time involved. I discovered copywriting through a Facebook ad
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
I’m fairly new so I’m more comfortable with short-form copy such as emails and ads
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
Areas that I can totally relate with! Healthcare, parenting, and the Christian faith. But I’m totally open to exploring other fields as well.
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
Sell the benefits instead of the features. People are more insterested in how a product can change their lives.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
They’re Filipino copywriters and my mentors- Raf Marabut and Cherry Aluzan. For a beginner like me, they’re not only teaching the basics of copywriting, but how to thrive in a rapidly-changing global environment. They’re all-out on their support!
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
I’m still a beginner who was blessed enough to work with a client. She said of me, The copy she delivered was 100% aligned with how I wanted my business to be perceived by potential clients.” This is my biggest win so far.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
Don’s hesitate to work with beginners. We are like a Pandora’s box- who knows, you might just open the next A-list copywriter and she’s from the Pearl of the Orient (Philippines)!
Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
