Q1. Where are you from?
Orange County, California.
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
A few years ago some people on Twitter were “flexing” that they’re making 6+ figures from a thing called copywriting. I was intrigued… and unhappy with my career history and prospects. So I looked into it and was hooked since. I always loved learning about persuasion, human nature, communication plus writing and making money online. So copywriting just fits with my interests.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
Email and short to medium-form copy like ads, landing pages, etc. Confident with long-form copy like VSLs if put to task.
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
Financial’s my favorite. But interested and open to all niches at this point though. Dating and survival, would love to do more of.
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
Write.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
Chris Haddad. Because he’s the master of emotionally compelling copy that sells. Through story or otherwise. And I try to have that effect on my copy. Plus he’s awesome.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
Got paid to rewrite some bland, industrial emails and gave them more “personality.” Talked to a few big prospects on possibly working with them. And got a bigger, mechanical keyboard that lights up when I write.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
Your business will have my laser focus and attention. Because of that, you’ll get awesome copy and results. I make or beat deadlines. I don’t give up. And I play along nicely. Let’s talk!
Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
