Q1. Where are you from?

India

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

After buying a $79 course on “how to make 3k-5k a month from Instagram” from some dude living in his mom’s basement and that not going anywhere (no surprise) I was scouring the Internet looking for a good money making opportunity as a kid who hated being in college and had already failed in 3 different online business. That’s when I saw Jason Capital’s “The Big 3 High-Income Skills To Make Money” video on YouTube. He mentioned copywriting as one of those 3 high-income skills and told me that if I learn it once, my life will never suck. I always liked writing and marketing so this was right up my alley! Next thing I knew, writing email copy was as one of my favourite things to do after sex and speaking on video.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

Emails!

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

I’m writing for e-commerce clients atm and really enjoying it but nothing is off limits as of now

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

People don’t buy products. People buy people.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

Daniel Throssell aka Australia’s best copywriter — I just have this urge to read every email he sends me. Heck, I’m actually excited for his email to hit my inbox everyday. He is like a chemical. It doesn’t matter if he trolls me, or if he makes me look like an idiot in his wild stories, I will still go back to read his email tomorrow. Come to think of it, I might have daddy issues

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

Readers can’t stop emailing my client about just how much fun they’re having reading the emails. We’re building loyal fans and making money all at the same time. Basically, started with a business and now it’s a BRAND

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

Hit me up ONLY if you’re not a control freak. My clients always make more money when my strategies don’t get questioned on a daily and I’m allowed to call the shots. Looking forward to your message :)

Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?

kohli2082@gmail.com
