Q1. Where are you from?

Karachi, Pakistan

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

I came across some posts on facebook that were discussing Copywriting. Since I have a vast experience in content writing and Editing, I decided to join in.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

Web copy, About Us and Landing pages mostly. But I want to transition into Email Copywriting.

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

Health related and lifestyle. I am great at storytelling so I like to be creative with the information.

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

How to be specific, and how to convince people to take action. In content writing we don’t have to excite or propel people every time, but with copy, we have to create messages that will convince them to take the desired action.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

I have followed Alex Cattoni, and I am genuinely a fan of Troy’s emails. I like the way their messages are simplistic, and are easy to understand for all types of people, there is no use of terminology or complex ideas that would put off people like me who started a few months ago. Other than that I follow Matt Baker, Luke Matthews and some others on LinkedIn.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

I guess I’m right in the middle. I have been working with a local agency, and though the rates are not quiet what I was looking for, I have been able to practice and understand the finer lines about copy. My win would be that out of 40 or so completed tasks in the past 50 days, only one got cancelled. Every copy that I write and is accepted by the client is a win for me.

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

I am a dedicated writer, and I inspect the product/service/ brand that I am about to write for from every angle. It helps me in creating an effective copy, and also share ideas that I believe would be useful for the client, even if they are not included in my task. I deliver quality work, because I like being vested in my clients’ ideology. Honesty, integrity and diligence are my core values.

Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?

sana.salman2326@gmail.com
