Q1. Where are you from?

The Pacific Northwest

Q2. How did you discover copywriting?

I was managing a business for an entrepreneur in 2010 when he asked me to start him an email list. I had no idea what he meant so I dove in. Took every course I could find. I started his list and made him almost $2 million in 18 months. I’ve been obsessed ever since.

Q3. What forms of copy do you write?

My agency offers full funnel copywriting and management. So lead magnets, email, sales pages and some web copy if needed.

Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?

High-ticket coaching, influencers, course creators…People selling information, not products.

Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?

Nobody cares about you. Too many people write about themselves and what THEY have to offer. But people only want to read about themselves and what you can do to help them.

Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?

The old white guys. Ogilvy, Dan Kennedy, Drayton Bird. They wrote with precision and persuasion. New age ethical copywriters focus more on feelings and cute words.

Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?

Recently we were able to optimize a book funnel for an 8-figure business. They got a 1500% increase in conversions within 30 days.

Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?

Results speak louder than a pretty website. Guarantees speak even louder. Never hire someone without being sure they can deliver. Also, as a business owner, you should understand the basics of good copywriting so you can spot it in potential hires.

Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
