Q1. Where are you from?
Petach Tikva, Israel
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
As funny as it might sounds, I crossed paths with copywriting on Tiktok. A video by Jason Capital about making money from home came to my FYP and I was skeptical on all this “laptop life” thing that he talked about… I simply did not believe him when he said “anyone can make thousands from home, you only need to follow the right steps”… But I kept watching him. Couldn’t be more happier that I did that. A bit after an hour of watching Jason’s Tiktok videos later, I stambled upon a video about Dan Lok… in which he talked about copywriting. In the video, he spoke at a live event on how easy copywriting can be when you follow 3 simple rules… and it captured me in a sec. I wanted to know more. I wanted to learn how to do it myself. I wanted to be a copywriter.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
Mainly emails, but also VSL’s, sales letters, advertorials and YT ads
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
Bodybuilding & fitness, supplements and personal development
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
“You can’t sell me this pen whenever you want… but you can sell it to me whenever I want a pen”- You can’t just sell anything to anyone… Different people want different things on different times. You need to recognize the people who actually want what you sell, and sell it to them.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
I admire a lot of them… Stefan G, Justin G, David D… But my absolute favorite is Ian Stanley. I simply never saw someone who can tell more entertaining stories than him. And you know what they say… Facts tell, stories sell.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
Truth to be told, I still consider myself a newbie even though I have my first win in the bag. I worked with a skincare company as my first client, and the emails I wrote for them converted 12%+ better than emails their previous copywriter wrote. But yet again, I still have a lot to learn, but I can’t wait to grow more
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
I’m glad you made the right decision. You had a lot of good options to choose… But you couldn’t find out there a copywriter who’s more passionate than me. That’s probably the reason you hired me anyway. I’m pumped to work with you… To learn your market… and to help you win again and again. Before we start, let’s set goals and expectations for each other. Shall we begin?
Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
shaked.p034@gmail.com
