Q1. Where are you from?
Long Island, New York
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
During my senior year of college, I was scrolling through Facebook while procrastinating on my research for corporate jobs, and I came across an ad from Sarah Turner. It promised you could “write you way to freedom” and earn a full-time income writing for brands that you loved. Needless to say, I was hooked.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
Primarily emails/list management, but occasionally blogs, website copy, and long-form sales letters too.
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
My favorites are high-ticket coaching & health/wellness but I also enjoy researching & writing for niches that I’m less familiar with.
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
People buy with emotion first and then justify with logic. I also believe in the importance of leading with empathy when you write.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
Jason Capital because his passion for the history, theory & practice of copywriting solidified my desire to go all in on the craft.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
Boosted email revenue for a coaching client from 0 to 30k per month in 2 months. My sales letter for a well-known personal development brand also beat their previous control.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
I’m a serial learner who’s hungry to help you scale, as long as you have a product or service that truly changes lives.
Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
