Q1. Where are you from?
San Jose, CA
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
Back in 2006, I was working in International Executive Sales. The money was great but there was too much travel. So, I began looking into ways to become “location independent.” When I heard about copywriting being “sales in print,” it was a natural transition.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
Every form of direct-response copy, sales letters, VSL scripts, emails, funnels, launch copy, etc.
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
Financial, Biz Op, Health, Personal Development
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
Nobody wants to buy your product or service, but they will if you can convince them to believe it will help them get what they REALLY want, which is not your product/service.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
I don’t have one favorite, but I am most impressed with the persuasiveness of A-level salespeople.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
I’ve worked with about 50 companies over the years, including many 7-figure marketers. I’m happy to have written lots of high-converting copy that’s produced great results.
