Q1. Where are you from?
Washington State
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
A Jason Capital ad popped up on my feed almost 4 years ago now. I was a railroad engineer at the time and desperately wanted a change.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
Email, sales page, sales letter
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
Personal growth/self mastery/wellness
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
Ooof. There’s a lot of great nuggets I keep on flash cards. But honestly, just being in love with what you’re selling. After learning copy frameworks and practicing, I always felt that just being in love with what I’m selling was big. When I love it, I research like a mad man. Plus, making it simple, inviting, interesting and memorable.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
Either Dan Kennedy, Craig Clemens or Gary Halbert… I’ll go with Gary Halbert. I loved reading The Boron Letters. That sparked me to look into his work more and I really love his angles. Simple, inviting and interesting. And I love how Craig sells you without seeming like he’s selling you. Which is something I try to do a lot in my copy. Also love reading Georgi’s pieces as well.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
There was a live event a company was having trouble selling. I came in and rewrote the emails and sales pages. We increased their conversions over 20%.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
Awesome! I first want to make sure that I’m the right person to truly help you reach your goals and that we’d be a great fit for each other. Do you mind if I ask you a few questions so we both can be clear that? Then I’d love to talk about what we can expect from each other.
Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
