Q1. Where are you from?
London, England
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
I started out as a junior copywriter in a Lagos-based advertising agency.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
I started out in the 90s; when it was all about print ads, outdoor banners, radio scripts and TV scripts. Fast forward to 2023, I’m learning to apply that knowledge to emails, sales letters, website landing pages, blogs, you name it.
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
Hmmm…I’ve written copy within the Tech, banking, hospitality, computing, and e-learning niches to mention a few but haven’t found a favourite yet…
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
Always come with an open mind…
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
That’s a tough one. Dan Lok has a platform where he mentors new, upcoming, and experienced copywriters. My time in that space makes him my favourite copywriter today.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
My most recent win was writing the copy for a website page of an immigration client based in Canada.
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
“Book a time and let’s see if we’re a great fit!”
Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
