Q1. Where are you from?
Germany, though living in Geneva, Switzerland
Q2. How did you discover copywriting?
Ka-Ching! 2020 I stumbled over some ecom videos from Nate Schmidt. He talked about how successful ecom was **NOT** about a “winning product”… Hold on. Wait… It’s not? No, my dear friend, it’s c-o-p-y writing. Huh… Okay, I thought… What’s this thing called ????????????????????????????????????????????? That’s how I discovered our craft.
Q3. What forms of copy do you write?
German sales letters, VSL scripts, emails, emails, emailsssss
Q4. What are your favorite niches to write in?
Health, Supplements, Biz Opp, and obscure “boring” brick-and-mortar niche SMEs.
Q5. What is the #1 lesson you've learned as a copywriter?
You don’t want to sound like any other copywriter out there.
Q6. Who is your favorite copywriter & why?
Hands down, Daniel Throssell. Why? He cares equally as much about market research as I do, and he loves math. (I love math, too.) He’s also funny and refreshing to read.
Q7. Do you have any recent wins to share?
I found a respectful mechanism to tell clients what to do, and they can’t help but say yes to it. It’s a win-win. They get more sales, I write actually compelling copy. Everyone is happy!
Q8. What would you say to a prospective client who wants to hire you?
First off, was this interview different? Did I deliver on my promise? If yes: We will have a lot of fun! Lemme get the champagne ready…. …. …. …. … zirp… zirp… Wait… I see a frowny brow. Not convinced yet? Huh. Okay. I don’t want to let you down… Write to me about how I could improve my persuasion skills, and let’s see if we can fix this. I trust you’ll able to find me.
Q9. What is a good email address for prospective clients to contact you?
